Financial Evidence Research Review privacy policy
Last updated 31 October 2026. This policy covers Financial Evidence Research Review, the Google Sheets Editor add-on operated by LIQUILENS PRIVATE LIMITED.
The add-on retrieves public financial research for selections you enter and creates new review tabs in the spreadsheet where you use it. This policy explains its Google user data access, use, sharing, protection, storage and deletion.
Google user data we access
- Current spreadsheet context: when you choose to create a review, Google Apps Script gives the add-on access to the current spreadsheet. The add-on checks whether its proposed new sheet names already exist, creates new sheets, and writes and formats returned public research. It does not read existing cell values, formulas or workbook contents, or access other spreadsheets or Drive files.
- Selections you enter: the sidebar processes the currency codes, institution slugs and optional publisher-test setting you enter. These selections are used for public research requests. Do not enter private customer information, portfolios or confidential material.
- Email address and basic profile permissions: the Marketplace installation configuration includes Google's
userinfo.emailanduserinfo.profilepermissions. The add-on implementation does not call identity APIs and does not retrieve, use, store or transmit your Google email address, name, profile picture or other profile fields. These installation permissions are distinct from the three runtime permissions below.
The runtime permissions are spreadsheets.currentonly (create review tabs in the current spreadsheet), script.container.ui (display the sidebar) and script.external_request (retrieve selected public research). The runtime does not request Gmail, contacts, all-Drive or all-spreadsheets access, and creates no background refresh trigger.
How we use Google user data
We use the current spreadsheet context only to carry out your requested review: avoid sheet-name collisions, create a separate set of review tabs, write research with its source dates and gaps, and show the result in the sidebar. Each refresh is started by your action. Existing analysis is not read or overwritten.
The public selections you enter retrieve funding and institution research from our fixed gateway at https://agents.seiche.info/v1/research/api/v1/. The gateway receives those selections, a fixed add-on client label, a test/unverified traffic label and ordinary network request metadata. It does not receive your spreadsheet ID, sheet names, existing cell contents, Google identity or Google authorization tokens from this add-on.
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising or user profiling, supplied to data brokers, or used for credit or lending decisions. Information obtained through Google Workspace APIs is not used to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Using the add-on does not enroll you in optional learning, measurement identities or task sharing.
Who receives data, and why
- Google: Google hosts and processes your spreadsheet, Apps Script execution and the sidebar under your Google account and Workspace settings. Review tabs inherit the spreadsheet's access and sharing controls. People you or your administrator allow to access the spreadsheet may see those tabs.
- LIQUILENS PRIVATE LIMITED: our Seiche research gateway processes only the public selections and request metadata described above to return research and operate, protect and diagnose the service. We do not receive a server-side copy of your workbook or Google identity from the add-on.
- Hosting and delivery providers: GitHub Pages and Cloudflare deliver the public website and may process visitor IP addresses, requested URLs, browser metadata and timestamps. The research gateway's hosting and network providers process request metadata needed to deliver and protect the service. These requests do not contain spreadsheet contents or Google identity supplied by the add-on. See the research gateway data notice and service privacy policy for separate operational processing.
We do not share or transfer Google user data to advertisers, data brokers, resellers or AI model-training providers. We do not access your spreadsheet for support unless you separately choose to share it with us; please send a non-confidential description instead. If you email support, we use the correspondence you supply to respond. Data we actually hold may be disclosed if legally required or necessary to investigate abuse and protect the service.
Financial Evidence Research Review's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we protect Google user data
The add-on uses HTTPS for external research requests and validates HTTPS certificates. Requests are limited to the configured research gateway; the request code does not follow redirects to other services. Access to Sheets is limited to the current document through Google's authorization controls.
The add-on does not copy spreadsheet contents, Google account data, or Google access or refresh tokens into a LIQUILENS server or database. Google manages authorization and the hosted spreadsheet and script within its platform. Access to saved review tabs follows the spreadsheet's existing permissions, which you and your Workspace administrator control.
The add-on validates and bounds research selections and response sizes, handles returned text as spreadsheet data rather than executable formulas, and does not log workbook contents or Google identity. Research requests and local JSON downloads are separate explicit actions. Keep your Google account, spreadsheet sharing and downloaded files secure.
Storage, retention and deletion
Review tabs remain in your Google spreadsheet until you delete them. The original public research JSON is held in the sidebar's memory for an optional download; closing the sidebar clears that in-memory capture. Downloaded JSON remains on your device until you delete it. We do not keep a separate server-side workbook copy or Google identity record from this add-on.
The research gateway retains bounded operational aggregates for 30 UTC days. They do not contain spreadsheet contents, Google identity, raw request arguments or response bodies. Logs controlled by LIQUILENS PRIVATE LIMITED are deleted when the security or diagnostic need ends, no later than 30 days after collection unless longer retention is required by law or an active abuse investigation. Provider-managed delivery and security logs follow each provider's configured lifecycle and privacy policy.
You can stop using the add-on, uninstall it, and revoke access in your Google account's third-party connections. Revocation or uninstalling does not remove saved review tabs or downloads; delete those separately. We cannot delete content stored only in your Google account or on your device.
For privacy questions, corrections or deletion requests concerning information controlled by LIQUILENS PRIVATE LIMITED, email mrinal@liquilens.in. We will explain what information we hold and any retention requirement when responding.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its date when data practices change. Material changes to Google user data access or use will also be disclosed in the add-on before changed behavior is enabled, with additional consent where required.
Other spreadsheet integrations
The copied Google custom functions process only their supplied selection arguments; the refresh-cell value is not transmitted. The Office browser desk may also send selected public dataset names. Downloaded XLSX and ODS workbooks have no macros or background network refresh.
The Excel task-pane add-in uses ReadWriteDocument permission to inspect worksheet names for collisions and insert new review sheets. It does not read existing cell values, send workbook contents or Microsoft identity, or obtain an account access token. Research retrieval and sheet insertion are separate explicit actions. See the Excel-specific privacy notice.
