Google OAuth Verification Submission Kit
Version 1.0

Copyright (c) 2025 the pack author. All rights reserved except as expressly granted below.

1. WHAT YOU MAY DO
------------------

You may, for your own personal use and for use within your own company or organisation:

  (a) read, copy, store and print the files in this pack;

  (b) use the templates in this pack to prepare your own Google OAuth verification
      submission, including for a commercial product that you sell;

  (c) adapt, edit, rewrite and fill in the templates to suit your product, including
      removing, adding and reordering sections, and changing the wording entirely;

  (d) use the resulting documents commercially. Your finished app description, scope
      justification, privacy policy, video script and submission material are yours.
      Nothing in this licence claims any rights over the documents you produce with
      these templates;

  (e) share the pack internally within your company or organisation, including with
      employees, contractors and advisers who are working with you on the submission,
      provided they are bound by confidentiality obligations at least as protective as
      this licence;

  (f) keep copies for backup and archival purposes.

2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO
----------------------

You may not:

  (a) resell, sublicense, rent, lease, lend or redistribute this pack, or any substantial
      part of it, whether on its own or as part of another product, template bundle,
      course, membership, "toolkit", or downloadable resource;

  (b) publish this pack, or any substantial part of it, on a website, in a repository,
      in a newsletter, in a course, or anywhere else that makes it available to people
      who have not purchased it;

  (c) offer this pack, or any substantial part of it, as a bonus, lead magnet, upsell,
      or free gift in connection with another product or service;

  (d) claim authorship of this pack, or remove or obscure this licence file;

  (e) sell, license or distribute the templates as templates — that is, redistribute them
      in a form that is substantially the same as the form in which you received them, so
      that they function as a substitute for this pack;

  (f) use this pack, or any part of it, to train, fine-tune or otherwise develop a machine
      learning model or AI system that is offered to third parties as a substitute for
      this pack.

If you are an agency, consultancy or freelancer: you may use this pack on behalf of your
clients, and you may include your adapted, filled-in output in the work you deliver to a
client. You may not deliver this pack itself as a deliverable.

3. YOU DO NOT NEED TO ATTRIBUTE
-------------------------------

You do not have to credit this pack in your submission, your product, or anywhere else.
The documents you produce using these templates are your own work product. Attribution is
appreciated but not required, and no attribution is required in any document you submit to
Google or publish on your site.

4. THIRD-PARTY AND GOOGLE RELATIONSHIP
--------------------------------------

This pack is an independent work. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or
approved by Google LLC or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. "Google", "Gmail",
"Google Drive", "Google Calendar", "Google Cloud" and related marks are trademarks of
Google LLC. They are used in this pack descriptively, to refer to Google's products and
policies, and their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by Google.

This pack does not reproduce Google's documentation. It references concepts from Google's
publicly published policies and requirements so that you can find and confirm them
yourself. Google's requirements, scope classifications, review processes and fees are set
by Google and change over time. You are responsible for confirming the current
requirements against Google's own published documentation before you submit anything.

No warranty is given that using this pack will result in verification being granted. No
approval rate, rejection rate, review duration, assessment fee, or other statistic is
stated or implied anywhere in this pack.

5. NOT LEGAL ADVICE
-------------------

THIS PACK IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE, AND IT DOES NOT CREATE A LAWYER-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP.

The privacy policy template in this pack (templates/privacy-policy-template.md) and the
other documents are provided as drafting structures for the Google OAuth verification
context. They are a starting point, not a finished legal document.

Privacy, data protection and consumer law vary by jurisdiction and change frequently. By
publishing a privacy policy you take on legal obligations that differ depending on where
you and your users are located — for example, obligations under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR
for individuals in the UK and EEA, and under the CCPA/CPRA for California residents, among
others. A privacy policy also interacts with your customer contracts, your sub-processor
agreements, and the way your software actually handles data.

YOU MUST HAVE A LAWYER QUALIFIED IN YOUR JURISDICTION (AND, WHERE RELEVANT, IN THE
JURISDICTIONS OF YOUR USERS) REVIEW YOUR PUBLISHED PRIVACY POLICY AND ANY OTHER LEGAL
DOCUMENT YOU PRODUCE USING THIS PACK BEFORE YOU PUBLISH OR RELY ON IT.

Nothing in this pack is a substitute for that review. Do not publish a privacy policy
built from this template without it.

6. NO WARRANTY
--------------

THIS PACK IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The author does not warrant that the information in this pack is accurate, complete or
current, that it reflects Google's current requirements, or that following it will result
in verification, approval, or any particular outcome. Google's policies change, and
information that was correct when this pack was written may no longer be correct.

You are solely responsible for the contents of anything you submit to Google, for the
accuracy of the statements you make, and for your compliance with Google's policies and
with applicable law.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
--------------------------

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE AUTHOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY
CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE,
ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PACK OR THE USE OF THIS PACK.

This includes, without limitation, liability for any loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss
of business, loss of opportunity, business interruption, loss of data, the cost of any
security assessment or third-party service, the rejection, delay or withdrawal of any
verification or approval by Google, the suspension or disabling of any account or
application, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, the author's total aggregate liability is limited to
the amount you paid for this pack.

8. TERMINATION
--------------

This licence terminates automatically if you breach any of its terms. On termination you
must stop using the pack and delete or destroy all copies. Sections 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9
survive termination. Termination does not affect your rights in documents you created
using the templates before termination, provided your use complied with this licence.

9. GENERAL
----------

If any provision of this licence is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in
full force. This licence is the entire agreement between you and the author concerning
this pack. It is governed by the laws of the author's principal place of business, without
regard to conflict of law rules.

For licensing questions, including agency and team use beyond the scope set out in section
1, contact the seller through the store where you purchased this pack.
