Generate a Power BI .pbit from a CSV
Where should ReportForge read data from? Pick CSV file for a one-off upload. The SQL options profile a live database and embed the connection (not credentials) into the .pbit, so when you open it in Power BI the data is queried live.
A single .csv with a header row. Columns are profiled automatically (measures, dimensions, dates, geographic fields).
Plain-English description of what you want. Requires an LLM key below — the model interprets your prompt and designs the visuals. Without a key, the prompt is ignored and ReportForge falls back to a sensible default dashboard.
PNG/JPG screenshot of a dashboard or design you want to match. The dominant colors are sampled and applied as the report theme (canvas, panels, and chart series).
AI assistance (required to use the prompt)
ReportForge sends your prompt + the dataset's column names (never the data rows) to Claude, GPT, or local Qwen. The local Qwen model is downloaded on first use if missing. The model returns chart specs that ReportForge validates and adds to the dashboard. Leave blank if you just want the deterministic default layout.

After download: open the file in Power BI Desktop. The generated .pbit is a template — Power BI will prompt for parameters and then load it as a new report. This tool does not modify the report you currently have open in Power BI Desktop.
