How your notes point at each other.
Edges are [[wikilinks]], rebuilt on every ingest — the same map Obsidian's graph view draws, but shared with your AI tools through MCP.
Drag nodes to rearrange; click one for its links. Notes with no links sit at the edge of the pack — they are the ones nobody connects yet.
Harnesses
Directories and files that feed this index.
Directories come from [[sources]] in config.toml and are re-scanned by loci ingest / loci watch.
Uploads are dropped into the instance's memories tree and indexed immediately — no rebuild, no key in the way. Use it for a spec, a PDF, meeting notes you want every agent to find.

Every search and question this instance answered, newest first.
Why it exists: when several agents share one instance, "Codex got nothing" is usually a query that hit an empty or different index. Write auditing cannot see that; this can.
What is stored: time, who, kind, the query text, hit count, the top result's location, and how long it took. The returned text is never stored.
Retention: newest 500 in memory. Set [http] query_log to also append them to a JSONL file.

Audit trail of every write and admin action on this loci instance.
What gets logged: memory create / edit / delete, remember, ingest triggers, harness re-summarize.
Who it's for: when several people or agents share this instance via [[auth.tokens]], trace exactly who changed what, and when.
Retention: newest 500 events in memory (cleared on service restart); the full history goes to the service log.
