Share of chunk lookups answered by Lifeboat in each sample interval
New KV is written to the write target; reads come from the nearest tier that holds the chunk.
Where KV is persisted, in order (the first usable target takes new writes). A target that can't be reached at startup is skipped and writes go to the local fallback.
Used when no target above is reachable, so KV is still written to local disk.
Codec per storage rung. fp8 halves KV size with negligible accuracy loss on the models measured so far; turboquant3 and oscar2 can break small models — check the sampled reconstruction error on the Overview tab before relying on them.
Episodic groups each request's chunks into one episode and evicts the coldest whole episodes first.
The full non-default configuration. It is validated before anything is applied; an invalid file changes nothing.
