# SentinelX Labs

A numbered Python package for displaying the Ethical Hacking practical material included in the supplied source ZIP. It is a **reference/code viewer**: it displays practical steps and source code; it does not execute the tools or commands shown in the practicals.

## Practicals

1. Encryption, Decryption and Hashing
2. CrypTool and HashCalc
3. Reconnaissance and Footprinting
4. Windows Commands and Network Utilities
5. Steganography
6. Scanning using Nmap
7. Wireshark (Sniffer)
8. DoS Demonstration using Colasoft Packet Builder
10. Password Cracking using John the Ripper and Hashcat
11. System Hacking using auditpol
12. Stealth and Hidden Files
13. Cain and Abel Dictionary Attack
14. DVWA Tool

The practical text is based on the supplied documents. The original ZIP is also included in the package as `source_documents.zip` to retain embedded images and original document layouts.

## Run from Python

```python
import runpy
runpy.run_module("sentinelx_labs", run_name="__main__")
```

## Install from PyPI

```cmd
python -m pip install --upgrade sentinelx-labs
sentinelx-labs
```

Or launch the menu with:

```cmd
python -m sentinelx_labs
```

## Build and publish

From the project folder:

```cmd
python -m pip install --upgrade build twine
python -m build
python -m twine check dist/*
python -m twine upload dist/*
```

## Safety

This package is educational reference material. Only perform security testing on systems, accounts, and networks you own or have explicit authorization to test. Prefer isolated lab systems and intentionally vulnerable training applications. The package does not perform scans, attacks, password recovery, or network operations itself.

## Source

The content comes from the included practicals (Practical 9 and Practical 15 are omitted by request) and supporting files in the uploaded archive. Some source documents contain screenshots or blank output placeholders; those are retained in the original `source_documents.zip` archive.
