Empty Stale = field not emitted in this mode (engine-gated — pruned from snapshot regardless of freshness). -1 = sticky: once received, never goes stale (good for one-time session-header fields like modelCode / serialNumber / loadShed_*). Any positive number = timeout in seconds. Unchecking Show hides the dashboard element even when the underlying data is flowing.
