# sika-cli

The `sika` command line interface for the [Sika Security](https://sikasecurity.com)
platform.

```bash
pipx install sika-cli     # recommended — isolated environment
pip install sika-cli
sika --help
```

Requires **Python 3.11+**.

## What this package is

`sika-cli` is a **launcher package**. It contains no modules of its own; it
depends on `sika-sdk[cli]` at the exact same version, which is where the CLI
code and the `sika` console entry point live.

Installing `sika-cli` therefore gets you both the `sika` command and the
`sika` Python SDK. The reverse is also true and always has been:
`pip install sika-sdk[cli]` gives you the same `sika` command. Use whichever
name you reached for first.

One consequence worth knowing: `pip uninstall sika-cli` removes only this
launcher — `sika-sdk` and the `sika` command remain installed. Remove both to
fully uninstall.
