So there was this woman named Maya who was working for a historical society and she found an old letter inside a logbook from a lighthouse keeper. The letter was from like 1923 and it mentioned a key hidden under a stone on the eastern wall of the lighthouse. There was also a small map drawn on the back of the letter with an X near some cliffs. She showed the letter to Dr. Patel who was the director and he said the lighthouse was shut down in 1924. So Maya went to the island on a weekend and took a ferry to get there. She found the key under the third stone, it was a brass key that was all green from age. The key didn't fit the main door but she found a small iron door hidden behind ivy at the base. Inside there was a passage going down into the rock and she found a room with shelves full of glass jars with specimens like shells and dried flowers. There was a desk with a logbook full of drawings of marine life. The last entry said something about the lighthouse closing and that whoever finds the records should continue observing the sea. She called Dr. Patel to tell him about it.
