{% comment %} DELIBERATELY SELF-CONTAINED. This template must render with no database, no context processors, no template context at all, and no static files — that is the whole point of a 500 page. By the time it is reached, the settings cache, the panel registry, the session backend or the database may be exactly what has failed, so: * no load tag, no static tag, no url tag — the test suite greps for all three; * nothing read from settings, user or request; * every colour written out literally instead of read from a --token, because the token stylesheet is generated in Python from settings and inlined by a view. This is the one file in the package allowed to hard-code colour, and the values below are copied from theme.py's LIGHT_NEUTRALS/DARK_NEUTRALS on purpose. ``vantage.authviews.server_error`` renders it with ``Template.render()`` and no arguments, which is what proves the above rather than merely asserting it. It doubles as the last-resort fallback for 403 and 404 when the shell itself cannot render, which is why the four strings below are overridable and default to the 500 wording. TRANSLATION. This is the one template in the package with no {% templatetag openblock %} load i18n {% templatetag closeblock %}, because a load tag is exactly what may have failed. Every visible string is therefore an *overridable* context variable whose default is the English wording; `vantage.authviews._bare` supplies lazily-translated values for all four, and the hard-coded defaults only ever render in the no-context smoke test. {% endcomment %} {{ error_title|default:"Something went wrong" }} {% comment %} Copied from theme.py's NO_FLASH_SCRIPT rather than interpolated, for the same reason as everything else on this page: importing it would mean importing the package, and the package is a suspect. It reads localStorage and nothing else. {% endcomment %}
