# Topsis-Jivitesh-102303229

This project is a Python implementation of the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method.  


The package is designed to be easy to use and understand, while following standard Python packaging practices.

## Installation

Install the package using pip:
pip install Topsis-Jivitesh-102303229

## Usage

After installation, the TOPSIS method can be executed directly from the terminal:
topsis data.xlsx "1,1,1,2,1" "+,+,-,+,+" output.csv

## Input File

The input file can be in CSV or Excel format.
The first column should contain the names of the alternatives.
All remaining columns must contain numeric values representing criteria.
Weights and impacts must be provided as comma-separated values.

## Output

The program generates an output CSV file containing:
Topsis Score for each alternative
Rank, where Rank 1 represents the best alternative
