The immune response at tissue scale. On a confluent ~900-cell epithelial sheet (■) seeded with an infected patch (■), 60 immune cells — macrophages (■), NK (■) and CD8⁺ T (■) — chemotax up the macrophage-released chemokine field toward the infection and cluster against the sheet. This consolidates the Increment 5–7 immune mechanisms (macrophage chemotaxis, chemokine/IL-10 signalling, NK/CD8 cytotoxicity) at representative tissue scale, replacing the earlier ~10-cell single-mechanism demos. Contact-killing at full scale remains the documented field-magnitude calibration gap quantified in the capstone — a mechanism claim, not a Fig 3B/5/7 reproduction.
