CGH Tab
The CGH tab provides access to the calibration constants used in
calculating computer-generated holograms. Change values by
clicking on the numbers, typing new values into the form, and hitting RETURN.
Instrumental Calibrations
- wavelength
- Vacuum wavelength of the trapping laser [μm]
- n_m
- Refractive index of the medium
- magnification
- Magnification of the objective lens
- focallength
- Focal length of the objective lens [μm]
- camerapitch
- Center-to-center separation between camera pixels [μm]
- slmpitch
- Center-to-center separation between SLM pixels [μm]
- splay
- Splay factor [rad/pixel]
Geometry of the SLM plane
- (xs, ys)
- Coordinates of the optical axis in the hologram plane [phixel]
- phis
- Tilt of the SLM relative to the optical axis [degree]
- scale
- Effective magnification of the objective's input pupil onto
the SLM
Geometry at the camera plane
- (xc, yc)
- Coordinates of the optical axis in the camera plane [pixel]
- zc
- Axial offset of the trap plane from the image plane [pixel]
- thetac
- Orientation of the trap plane relative to the image plane
