BRAIN (CRANIAL) MRI
Clinical information: Lung Ca.

Technique: Sagittal and axial T1A; sagittal, axial, and coronal FLAIR; axial T2A, DWI, ADC, and SWI. T1A in 3 planes after contrast agent injection (Dotarem 20 ml IV contrast agent was used).

Findings:

Medulla oblongata, pons, mesencephalon, both cerebellar hemispheres, and vermis parenchyma are normal.

The 4th ventricle and basal cisterns are normal.

Bilateral thalami, basal ganglia, internal and external capsules, and corpus callosum are observed to be normal.

Periventricular white matter, corona radiata, and centrum semiovale are normal.

Cerebral gyral pattern and cerebral cortex are normal.

No abnormality was detected on diffusion-ADC and SWI sections.

Intracranial pathological enhancement was not detected with IV contrast agent.

The third ventricle and both lateral ventricles are of normal size. Hemispheric cortical sulcal widths are compatible with the patient's age.

Major cerebral vascular structures are patent.

Bilateral orbits, paranasal sinuses, nasopharynx, and middle ear aeration are normal.

Visualized osseous structures are normal.

The cervicomedullary junction is not well characterized on this exam.

Impression:

•	Contrast-enhanced cranial MRI examination within normal limits.
