cv_otsu — 2D segmentation op

Data kinds: imageregion

Call: fullseye.apply(img, "cv_otsu", a=0.5, b=0.5) (the 2-D model is one image plus two scalar knobs a,b∈[0,1])

HALCON equivalent: binary_threshold (the HALCON reference is a useful guide to its meaning and parameters)

Usage

Global thresholding using Otsu's discriminant analysis method (OpenCV implementation). Same algorithm as sk_otsu, but it differs in that it quantizes internally to 8 bits before computing (results may shift slightly).

> The detailed description below is the original text — the summary and the headings are translated.

HALCON の binary_threshold に相当。実装は `cv2.threshold(_u8(v), 0, 255, THRESH_BINARY+THRESH_OTSU)` の結果を真偽値化したもの。a, b は未使用。

• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).

• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
