tb_pc_fill_sparse — 2D typed op

Call: fullseye.apply(img, "tb_pc_fill_sparse", a=0.5, b=0.5) (the 2-D model is one image plus two scalar knobs a,b∈[0,1])

Usage

Insert points where the local spacing exceeds *spacing*, on the local PCA plane (`points`).

For every point whose distance to its *k*-th neighbour exceeds *spacing*,

the segments to those neighbours longer than *spacing* are subdivided at

*spacing* intervals; the new points are projected onto the plane fitted

(PCA) to the point's neighbourhood so they follow the surface rather than

cut chords across it. The original points are kept; the result is then a

cloud whose spacing is ≤ target almost everywhere (pass it to

:func:pc_poisson_disk to remove the duplicates a shared edge creates —

:func:pc_density_equalize does both).

Typed bridge of the 3d op `pc_fill_sparse into the 2-D evolution registry: the same implementation, called under the op(v, a, b) convention. a drives k (default 8); b` is unused.
