• Call: fullseye.apply(img, "tb_temporal_band_power", a=0.5, b=0.5) (the 2-D model is one image plus two scalar knobs a,b∈[0,1])
Per-pixel mean-square power inside a temporal band -> `(H, W)` map.
"Where in the frame is something moving at this frequency?" — a resonance
map. The value at a pixel is the mean over time of the squared band-passed
signal, so a pure sinusoid of amplitude `a` inside the band reads exactly
`a^2/2 (Parseval; measured relative error 3.08e-16 for a = 0.3`).
This is an *analysis map*, not a displayable image: it is a power and is not
bounded by 1. Pixels with no in-band content read 0.
Typed bridge of the motionmag op `temporal_band_power into the 2-D evolution registry: the same implementation, called under the op(v, a, b) convention. This op has no tunable parameter; a and b` are unused.
• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).
• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
