Call: fullseye.apply(img, "xwt_directional_detail", a=0.5, b=0.5) (the 2-D model is one image plus two scalar knobs a,b∈[0,1])

Usage

Directional edge detection. Selects one of the horizontal (cH), vertical (cV), or diagonal (cD) detail subbands from a single-level `db2 decomposition, normalizes its absolute value, then block-upsamples it back to the original resolution (2x2 replication via kron`) and returns it.
