The examples 01_graphics.py, 02_polygon.py, 03_blending.py and
04_noise_field.py in this directory are ports of openFrameworks examples
(graphicsExample, polygonExample, blendingExample and noiseField2dExample,
https://github.com/openframeworks/openFrameworks/tree/master/examples),
which are distributed under the MIT License below.

The examples 05_image_loader.py, 06_fbo_trails.py, 07_shader.py and 08_vbo.py
take their ideas from openFrameworks examples too (imageLoaderExample with
imageSubsectionExample, fboTrailsExample, shaderExample and vboExample, same
repository). 06_fbo_trails.py follows the original's structure, and 07_shader.py
carries over the original's vertex shader (the noise function and the repulsion
from the mouse); both are covered by the MIT License below. 05_image_loader.py
and 08_vbo.py are new code in the spirit of their originals, and so is
09_gui.py (guiExample).

The examples remix_sparks.py, remix_strata.py and remix_throwing.py rework
openFrameworks examples too (gpuParticleSystemExample, noise1dOctaveExample and
polylineBlobsExample, same repository), and are covered by the MIT License
below.

The picture used by 05_image_loader.py, 07_shader.py and 08_vbo.py is
docs/assets/images/ming-jar-dragon.jpg: "Jar with dragon", China, Ming dynasty,
Xuande mark and period (1426-35), porcelain painted with cobalt blue under a
transparent glaze (Jingdezhen ware). The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Gift of
Robert E. Tod, 1937, accession 37.191.1. It is in the public domain (CC0), via
the Met's Open Access program (https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/39666),
centre-cropped and resized from the Met's photograph DP-32251-001.jpg.

The examples remix_crystalline.py, remix_glaze_flow.py and remix_harmonograph.py
in this directory are inspired by examples from the book Generative Design
(P_2_2_4_01, M_1_5_02, and M_2_3_01 with M_2_3_02), as ported to Rust in
nannou's generative_design examples
(https://github.com/nannou-org/nannou/tree/master/generative_design).
The Generative Design originals (Generative Gestaltung – Creative Coding
im Web, Hermann Schmidt, Mainz, 2018) are by Benedikt Groß, Hartmut Bohnacker, Julia Laub and Claudius
Lazzeroni, with contributions by Joey Lee and Niels Poldervaart, and are
licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0, as the header of each of
nannou's ports states. nannou is copyright (c) the nannou contributors and is
licensed MIT OR Apache-2.0, at your option (the license field of its
Cargo.toml).

The Generative Design originals are credited as inspiration only. Each sketch
takes the idea of its original (circles that grow by attaching to their
nearest neighbour, agents that draw trails on a noise field, and damped
oscillation figures) and is new code: no code from nannou or from Generative
Design is translated or copied, so neither license's text is reproduced here.
