ℹ️ About Blend

Search the web,
on your terms.

Blend is a privacy-first, AI-powered meta search engine. We believe your search history is yours — not ours.

What is Blend?

Blend is a meta search engine — it aggregates results from multiple search providers and delivers them to you without tracking who you are, what you searched, or where you're from.

The name "Blend" reflects exactly what we do: we blend the best results from across the web into a single, clean, private interface. Think of it as a privacy-first layer on top of the existing web.

Why we built this

Major search engines track your every query. They build profiles, sell data, and serve results filtered by algorithms optimized for engagement — not accuracy. We wanted something different: a search engine that respects you.

Blend was born as an experiment in privacy-respecting web search. We've since grown it into a full-featured search engine with image, video, news, maps, and file search — all without compromising on privacy.

How it works

When you search on Blend, your query is sent simultaneously to multiple search engine APIs on our backend server. We strip all identifiers from these requests so engines cannot track you. Results are aggregated, deduplicated, ranked, and returned to you in milliseconds.

We never proxy images or resources through our server unless necessary. External requests (thumbnails, favicons) are handled client-side so our server never sees your browsing behavior post-search.

Query flow

Your browser → Blend server (strips your IP) → Multiple search APIs → Results merged → Back to you
