Aligns a moving image onto a fixed one in two steps: an affine places it roughly (scale, rotation, shift), given or found here, then this computer's GPU fits a smooth field of local shifts on top, and, if asked, finer fields where you zoom in. The images are read straight from their URLs and nothing is uploaded; the registered volume is computed here, chunk by chunk, as the viewer asks.

Affine, fixed to moving The starting placement: a 3×4 matrix (rows z, y, x) taking fixed coordinates to moving ones, in the images' units. The field only corrects local offsets, so this must be roughly right; the left panel shows it alone. Empty: Register finds one first, by matching the images' centres and principal axes and then fitting it.

Iterations and window take one value, one per level, or one per level with the refined ones below (fine levels gain from a wider window, such as 15 or 31).

Fit where you look: levels below the solved ones Their field is fitted block by block, from the solved field, when the viewer first shows a chunk: zoom in and the fit follows. 0 serves them through the solved field.

chunkmirage serves this registration to any viewer or library (napari, Fiji, dask), solved on a server's GPU.

Python solves its levels whole (a server's GPU has the memory) and finds the affine itself with affine=auto; after Register the command holds the affine found here.
