Six tiles stitched by RANSAC in your browser, with every knob live

Interest points are found where the tiles overlap, matched between neighbours by the pattern of their nearest neighbours, and RANSAC keeps the matches that agree on one shift (or rigid, or affine motion). Then every tile is fitted to all the kept matches at once, and the fused volume is computed chunk by chunk as you look. Change a setting and it all runs again: lower significance to let doubtful matches through and watch RANSAC reject them.

Data: BigStitcher-Spark's stitching example, a larval fly CNS in 2 × 3 tiles of 512 × 512 × 86 (three channels), with BigStitcher's own result to compare.

The same from Python

Everything here runs in this browser: the tiles are read from their public bucket, and every step, from the interest points to each fused chunk, is chunkmirage's own Python (chunkmirage.stitching), run by Pyodide in web workers. Nothing is uploaded.
