The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 11:07:27 UT on 6 Dec 2022, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 221206A (trigger 692017652.091436 / 221206464).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 244.1, Dec = -42.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 16h 16m, -42d 42'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.7 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 42.0 degrees.
