The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 05:26:11 UT on 18 Jun 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230618B (trigger 708758776.929754 / 230618227).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 257.5, Dec = -6.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 17h 10m, -6d 42'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.0 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 90.0 degrees.
