The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 22:44:39 UT on 1 Jul 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230701A (trigger 709944284.121944 / 230701948).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 115.7, Dec = 43.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 07h 42m, 43d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 2.9 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 45.0 degrees.
