The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB

At 04:30:02 UT on 18 Jul 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230718A (trigger 711347407.352732 / 230718188).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 146.0, Dec = 23.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 09h 43m, 23d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 33.5 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 79.0 degrees.
