The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 06:38:55 UT on 4 Aug 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 230804A (trigger 712823940.838898 / 230804277).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 199.8, Dec = -45.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 13h 19m, -45d 12'), with a statistical uncertainty of 16.6 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 71.0 degrees.
