The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 15:20:18 UT on 7 Feb 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240207A (trigger 729012023.222884 / 240207639).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 162.1, Dec = 51.6 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 10h 48m, 51d 36'), with a statistical uncertainty of 9.2 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 73.0 degrees.
