The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 22:22:27 UT on 5 Apr 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240405B (trigger 734048552.443682 / 240405932).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 262.8, Dec = 44.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 17h 31m, 44d 47'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.7 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 55.0 degrees.
