The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

"At 17:17:36.47 UT on 21 August 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM)
triggered and located GRB 240821B (trigger 745953461/240821721).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data,
is RA = 228.98, Dec = 77.40 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 15h 16m, 77d 24'),
with a statistical uncertainty of 3.28 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 64 degrees.
