Hey Product Hunt — I'm Jon. I've been teaching social studies at Great Neck South for 9 years.

Every AI tool I've tried writes lessons that sound like a textbook committee wrote them. My kids would tune out in 30 seconds. I use AIM questions to frame every lesson — "How did the alliance system turn a regional conflict into a world war?" — and none of these tools understood that. They'd give me "Students will be able to..." objectives that I'd have to rewrite from scratch anyway.

So I built EDUagent for myself. You point it at your lesson plan folder and it actually reads your stuff — your Do Nows, your exit tickets, your weird little phrases. Then when you ask it to plan a unit, the output sounds like you. Not "a teacher." You.

I showed a colleague one of the generated lessons and she said "this sounds exactly like your handouts." That's the whole point.

It runs on your machine, it's MIT-licensed, and it's free. If you teach — any subject, any grade — I'd genuinely love to hear if it captures your voice too.

Happy to answer anything in the comments.
