Frequency

A Frequency is one catalog value within a Frequency Band. Use the catalog to record frequencies available to your organization.

Add a catalog frequency

1. Open Frequencies and select Add.
2. Select the band and enter the frequency in MHz.
3. Optionally choose a status, tenant, and description, then save.

For example, enter 70.000 for a 70 MHz frequency in VHF. TRAX stores three decimal places and rejects values outside the selected band's boundaries. The combination of band and frequency must be unique.

Frequency Sets contain transmit/receive pairs and transport details. The related-set information on a catalog frequency shows sets using that value in the same band. A catalog frequency alone does not assign a channel to a mission or authorize transmission.
