# Third-party and historical license notices

The Business Source License applies to JupyterExcel project code distributed
under that license. It does not replace third-party licenses or revoke rights
in copies previously distributed under MIT.

## Microsoft sample files
The Microsoft Corporation MIT copyright notices in commands.html and
functions.html are retained. The MIT permission and warranty terms appear in
LICENSE-MIT; the Microsoft copyright attribution in those files remains
applicable to the Microsoft material.

## regenerator-runtime
The existing Facebook, Inc. notice is retained in
jupyterexcel/addin_template/taskpane.js.LICENSE.txt and copied to generated
asset directories. That notice identifies regenerator-runtime as MIT licensed.
The MIT permission and warranty terms appear in LICENSE-MIT; retain the
component's original copyright attribution.

## External dependencies
Office.js, the Custom Functions runtime, and Office UI Fabric resources loaded
from Microsoft CDNs remain subject to their respective license terms.
Python dependencies are separately licensed; JupyterExcel's BSL does not
replace their licenses.

## Earlier MIT releases and the Change License
LICENSE-MIT preserves the previous project MIT notice and supplies the Change
License named by LICENSE. It is not an immediate alternative license for
new project changes distributed only under BSL.

In generated add-in directories, these notices are named
THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt and the MIT text is named LICENSE-MIT.txt.
