The bundled data files src/mqtt_spec_mcp/data/mqtt-v3.1.1.json and
src/mqtt_spec_mcp/data/mqtt-v5.0.json, and every specification excerpt returned
by the server, contain text from the OASIS MQTT publications listed below. That
text remains Copyright (c) OASIS Open and is NOT covered by the MIT License.

About the bundled indexes
-------------------------

The indexes are transformed retrieval aids derived from the publications. They
are neither official OASIS publications nor modified versions of them. The
transformation splits each publication into numbered sections, paragraphs, list
items and tables; collapses whitespace; drops the title page, notices, table of
contents, figures, page headers and footers, hidden text and the alphabetic
appendices; and adds structured catalogs (control packets, properties, reason
codes, return codes, requirement labels and glossary terms) that point back to
the publication's own section numbers. Excerpts keep the publication's wording,
including its typographical errors. The OASIS publications remain the only
authoritative text. For MQTT 3.1.1, the publication itself names its .doc
edition as the authoritative version.

Requirement label normalizations (MQTT 3.1.1)
---------------------------------------------

Requirement labels are matched after removing surrounding brackets and all
internal whitespace and converting to upper case, so a printed label such as
"[ MQTT-3 .1.2-5]" is indexed as MQTT-3.1.2-5. In addition:

- The body of MQTT 3.1.1 prints "[MQTT-3.3.1.-1]" (section 3.3.1.1). It is
indexed as MQTT-3.3.1-1, the spelling used in the publication's Appendix B.
Both spellings resolve on lookup; the stored excerpt keeps the printed text.
- The nonstandard labels MQTT-3.1.2.7 (section 3.1.2.4) and MQTT-3-8.3-4
(section 3.8.3) are preserved exactly as printed.

Requirement label reconciliation (MQTT 5.0)
-------------------------------------------

Two MQTT 5.0 labels listed in the publication's Appendix B are not printed in a
recognizable form in the body: MQTT-3.2.2-8 is printed as "T-3.2.2-8]" in
section 3.2.2.2, and MQTT-4.2.0-1 appears in section 4.2 as "[MQTT-4.2-1]".
Each is indexed in the body section whose text carries the statement; the
printed excerpt is kept verbatim, and MQTT-4.2-1 remains indexed as printed.
