# PainFace

Open-source Python framework for facial pain estimation via Action Units (AUs).

**Research tool only — not a medical device.**

## Install

```bash
pip install painface
```

## Quick Start

```python
from painface import PainFace

pf = PainFace()

# Load an image
record = pf.load_image("face.jpg")

# Load a video and sample frames
meta   = pf.load_video("patient_video.mp4")
frames = pf.sample_frames(meta, target_fps=5)

print(f"Got {len(frames)} frames")
```
