geometry op• Data kinds: primitive → position
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.intersect_line_plane(line_pt, d, plane_pt, n) (to call the implementation directly, import match3d; match3d.intersect_line_plane(line_pt, d, plane_pt, n); from the registry, ops3d.get("intersect_line_plane"))
Line ∩ plane → a point (None when they are parallel).
Returns line_pt + t·d with t = ((plane_pt − line_pt)·n̂)/(d·n̂) (float array). d is not normalised (t is in units of the length of d). If |d·n̂| < 1e-9 it returns None (not an exception; check for None before using the return value). A line lying in the plane (distance 0 and parallel) also gives None. Arguments are numeric 2- or 3- vectors; mixed dimensions raise ValueError. In 2-D, n is taken as the line's normal and the result is a line-line intersection.
Uses: intersection of a line of sight (point of depth_to_points − origin) with the plane of fit_plane_3d; a ray against a reference plane.
