robust_fit op• Data kinds: points → primitive
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.ransac_line(points, thresh, iters=300, seed=0) (to call the implementation directly, import ransac_fit; ransac_fit.ransac_line(points, thresh, iters=300, seed=0); from the registry, ops3d.get("ransac_line"))
Outlier-robust RANSAC line fitting.
Sample 2 points → line (point on line + direction) → maximise the inliers with point-line distance ‖(p-p0)×d‖ < thresh → least-squares refit on the final inliers (direction = major principal axis of the covariance).
Args:
points: (N,3) point cloud.
thresh: point-line distance threshold for counting as an inlier.
iters: number of RANSAC iterations.
seed: random seed (deterministic).
Returns:
(params, inlier_mask, info). params = {"point": (3,), "direction": (3,)} (unit direction).
