rank_data — IMGMETRICS iqa op

• Data kinds: any → any

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.rank_data(x) -> 'np.ndarray' (to call the implementation directly, import iqatid; iqatid.rank_data(x) -> 'np.ndarray'; from the registry, opsimgmetrics.get("rank_data"))

Usage

Average ranks (starting at 1). Ties get the average of their ranks (same definition as 'average' in scipy.stats.rankdata).

Example: [10, 20, 20, 30] → [1, 2.5, 2.5, 4]. ±inf get the maximum / minimum rank (tied with each other). Raises ValueError: length below 2, nan.

References (sample data, literature)

• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).

• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.

• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
