• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.tid2013_evaluate(root, fn: 'Callable[[np.ndarray, np.ndarray], float]', *, subset=None, luma: 'str' = 'limited_u8', index: 'Optional[dict]' = None) -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import iqatid; iqatid.tid2013_evaluate(root, fn: 'Callable[[np.ndarray, np.ndarray], float]', *, subset=None, luma: 'str' = 'limited_u8', index: 'Optional[dict]' = None) -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsimgmetrics.get("tid2013_evaluate"))
Applies your own metric fn(ref, dist) -> float to the TID2013 pairs and returns its rank correlation with the MOS.
luma = "limited_u8" (pass Y′ uint8 (H, W) per the author convention, when comparing with psnr.txt / ssim.txt) / "rgb" (pass uint8 (H, W, 3) as is, when comparing with psnrc.txt). subset = None (all 3000 pairs) / a count (the first n of the ledger) / a list of names (case-insensitive, extension optional). The 25 reference images are read only once.
Returns: values (n,), mos (n,), idx (ledger row numbers), names, srocc, krocc (τ_b), n, n_inf, luma, seconds. fn returning inf is legitimate (perfect PSNR match). In TID2013, of the 125 pairs of distortion 18 "change of colour saturation", in 106 pairs Y′ does not differ from the reference in even 1 pixel; the author writes those rows in psnr.txt as 100000.0, and ssim.txt as 1.0 (inf_as of tid2013_compare). Rank correlation treats inf as the maximum rank. Raises ValueError: unknown luma, fn returns something other than a number or ±inf (nan is rejected), invalid subset.
