lf_views — LIGHTFIELD views op

• Data kinds: lightfield → images

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.lf_views(lf) (to call the implementation directly, import lightfield; lightfield.lf_views(lf); from the registry, opslightfield.get("lf_views"))

Usage

The whole angular grid as a plain list of 2-D images (row-major over (v, u)).

The bridge to the rest of fullseye: the returned list of V*U (H, W) arrays is the images type, so multi-image operators (registration, fusion, statistics, focus_stack's machinery) consume a light field with no adapter. Ordering is v outer, u inner, i.e. views[v*U + u] == lf[v, u]; each entry is a copy, so mutating one does not corrupt the field.

Raises ValueError: *lf* is not a valid light field.

References (sample data, literature)

• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).

• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.

• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.

Ops the type connects to (they accept images as input)
