model op• Data kinds: metrologymodel → scalar
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.add_metrology_object_generic(model, otype, params, n: 'int' = 40) -> 'int' (to call the implementation directly, import metrology; metrology.add_metrology_object_generic(model, otype, params, n: 'int' = 40) -> 'int'; from the registry, opsmeasure1d.get("add_metrology_object_generic"))
Adds a generic metrology object (add_metrology_object_generic).
An entry point that specifies the shape type by string. The pair otype and params must be in the same order as for the dedicated ops:
• "line": (row1, col1, row2, col2)
• "circle": (row, col, radius)
• "rect": (row, col, phi, l1, l2) (phi in radians, l1/l2 half side lengths)
• "ellipse": (row, col, phi, ra, rb)
params is just turned into a tuple and stacked; neither otype nor the number of elements is validated here. An unknown otype is rejected by apply_metrology_model with ValueError, and a wrong number of elements likewise fails during unpacking at apply time. When loading shapes from a configuration file, check them against the table above before stacking.
• n: number of samples (default 40; for a rectangle, distributed over the 4 sides).
• Returns: index of the added position (starting at 0).
• align_metrology_model moves params[0]/params[1] as row/col (for "line" only, also [2]/[3]).
