algebra op• Data kinds: cscalar → pairs
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.cscalar_to_polar(cscalar) (to call the implementation directly, import reprconv; reprconv.cscalar_to_polar(cscalar); from the registry, opsreprconv.get("cscalar_to_polar"))
Complex scalar → polar form pairs (1,2) = [|z|, arg z [deg]]. The exit from cscalar.
The complex scalar returned by cplx_contour_integral / cplx_cauchy_value has its own type because, mixed into measurement (real scalars only), it would make downstream code crash with a raw TypeError. As a polar pair it can be passed to the 1-D vocabulary.
The angle is in degrees. Round trip with polar_to_cscalar measured max|Δ| = 8.9e-16.
Args:
cscalar: complex (or a complex 0-d array).
Returns:
(1, 2) float64.
Raises:
ValueError: not a complex scalar / non-finite.
