curvature_to_table — REPRCONV curvature op

• Data kinds: curvature → table

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.curvature_to_table(curvature) (to call the implementation directly, import reprconv; reprconv.curvature_to_table(curvature); from the registry, opsreprconv.get("curvature_to_table"))

Usage

Curvature → a table summarising its distribution. One-way (a statistic's job is to throw information away).

Accepts both (N,) single curvatures and (N,2) principal curvature pairs -- just producing statistics does not need pairs. The received form is written back into kind, so downstream can tell afterwards "was it a pair".

Args:

curvature: (N,) / (N, 2) / a tuple of 2 equal-length 1-D arrays.

Returns:

dict. kind / n / min / max / mean / rms /

p05 / p50 / p95, and for pairs gauss_mean (mean of K = k1*k2) and

mean_curvature_mean (mean of (k1+k2)/2).

Raises:

ValueError: invalid shape / non-finite.

• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.

Ops the type connects to (they accept table as input)
