flow op• Data kinds: points × flow_scattered → points
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.flow_apply(points, flow) (to call the implementation directly, import reprconv; reprconv.flow_apply(points, flow); from the registry, opsreprconv.get("flow_apply"))
Add a scattered flow (N,3) to a point set (N,3) → points. The consuming side of flow.
Since estimate_flow(a, b) returns "the displacement from each point of a to its nearest neighbour in b", flow_apply(a, estimate_flow(a, b)) moves to those points of b that were chosen as nearest neighbours from a. The round trip is exact only when the correspondence is a bijection; otherwise the shape shrinks by exactly as much as "2 points of a land on the same point of b" -- selftest reports this residual as a number.
Args:
points: (N, 3).
flow: (N, 3).
Returns:
(N, 3) float64.
Raises:
ValueError: row count mismatch / bad shape / non-finite.
