score_to_image2d — REPRCONV score op

• Data kinds: score → image2d

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.score_to_image2d(score, axis=0) (to call the implementation directly, import reprconv; reprconv.score_to_image2d(score, axis=0); from the registry, opsreprconv.get("score_to_image2d"))

Usage

A score volume → its maximum-intensity projection, an image2d. The second exit from score.

Maximum intensity projection (MIP) along the given axis. One-way. Used to check whether the correlation peak "looks like 1 single peak from every face" -- if you see 2, the correspondence is ambiguous.

Args:

score: (D, H, W).

axis: axis to collapse (0/1/2).

Returns:

2-D float64 such as (H, W).

Raises:

ValueError: not 3-D / axis out of range / non-finite.

References (sample data, literature)

• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).

• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.

• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
