algebra op• Data kinds: vector → shift
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.vector_to_shift(vector) (to call the implementation directly, import reprconv; reprconv.vector_to_shift(vector); from the registry, opsreprconv.get("vector_to_shift"))
A vector (3,) → an integer shift (dz, dy, dx). The other direction of shift_to_vector.
Irreversible (rounds to the nearest integer). What is lost is exactly the rounding residual, and |v - round(v)| <= 0.5 is the upper bound on each axis. Only a round trip that starts from integers is bit-identical.
Args:
vector: (3,).
Returns:
3-tuple of int.
Raises:
ValueError: not (3,) / non-finite.
