geometry op• Data kinds: image2d × matrix × matrix → image2d
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.vx_remap(image, map_x, map_y, *, interpolation, border, constant_value=0) (to call the implementation directly, import vxcore; vxcore.vx_remap(image, map_x, map_y, *, interpolation, border, constant_value=0); from the registry, opsvx.get("vx_remap"))
remap (Section 3.44): output (x, y) = input (map_x[y, x], map_y[y, x]) (REQ-0392). The tables have the shape of the output; in the coordinates, input pixel centers are at integers.
Raises ValueError: not a 2-D U8 / map_x and map_y are not real 2-D arrays of the same shape / interpolation or border not in the list.
• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).
• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
