geometry op• Data kinds: image2d × matrix → image2d
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.vx_warp_affine(image, matrix, *, interpolation, border, constant_value=0) (to call the implementation directly, import vxcore; vxcore.vx_warp_affine(image, matrix, *, interpolation, border, constant_value=0); from the registry, opsvx.get("vx_warp_affine"))
Affine transform (Section 3.56). Inverse mapping: output pixel (x, y) is taken from input (x0, y0) (REQ-0498): x0 = M[0,0]·x + M[0,1]·y + M[0,2], y0 = M[1,0]·x + M[1,1]·y + M[1,2].
*matrix*: 2×3 in mathematical order (row 1 holds the coefficients a, b, c of x0). ★ The specification's C declaration is mat[3][2] = { {a,d}, {b,e}, {c,f} } (transposed order) -- passing the C array as is gives the shape (3, 2), so it stops. *interpolation* (required): "nearest" / "bilinear". *border* (required): "constant" (filled with *constant_value*) / "undefined" (filled with 0; the value is undefined by the specification).
Raises ValueError: not a 2-D U8 / matrix is not a finite 2×3 / interpolation or border not in the list.
• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).
• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
