Kubernetes Connections
A Kubernetes connection stores the kubeconfig on the server and the context name used to select a cluster. Authentication and the collection host are separate: the kubeconfig reaches the API, and node-plane collectors still need the kit to run where the log files are.
| Field | Step | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Display name | Provider details | How the connection appears in dropdowns and run history |
| Alias | Provider details | Optional short label in the connections table |
| Kubernetes Context | Provider details | The context name inside the kubeconfig |
| Kubeconfig Content | Authenticate | Full kubeconfig YAML. Leave blank on edit to keep the saved file |
