I Ching Data
============

The I Ching (易經, Book of Changes) is a text originating from the Zhou
Dynasty (approximately 1000-750 BCE). The hexagram names, trigram
associations, and structural system are part of the shared cultural heritage
of humanity and are not subject to copyright protection.

Hexagram names and pinyin romanizations in data.json follow the standard
King Wen sequence. Judgment texts are original paraphrases written for this
project (not copied from any translation) and are covered by the project's
MIT license.

Hexagram Images
===============

The SVG hexagram images in the images/ directory are programmatically
generated line diagrams representing the traditional six-line hexagram
symbols. They consist of simple geometric rectangles (solid lines for yang,
broken lines for yin) and are not derived from any copyrighted source.

Trigram Data
============

Trigram names, characters (☰☷☳☴☵☲☶☱), attributes, and natural images in
trigrams.json are standard I Ching reference data in the public domain.
